Colorado PERA Adds Mobile App Voting for 2025 Board Elections

DENVER—Nearly two dozen candidates are vying for five seats on the Colorado PERA Board of Trustees and PERA is making it easier than ever to vote in this year’s elections.

For the first time, PERA members can cast their vote using the PERA mobile app. Members can also vote by paper ballot, phone, or by logging into either the election website or their secure PERA account.

Eligible members will receive their ballots and voting instructions in the mail in early May. The Board will announce election results at its June meeting.

Mobile voting is a PERA Board initiative to expand member engagement and participation in Board elections. PERA worked with the Board’s election vendor to ensure members can easily and securely cast their vote by mobile app or when logged into their secure PERA account.

“Trustee elections are incredibly important, and I’m glad we’re able to provide members more ways to vote,” said Andrew Roth, PERA CEO/Executive Director. “I hope our members and retirees will download the app and take advantage of this helpful new feature.”

In addition to voting, PERA members also can use the mobile app to check account balances, years of service and review estimated retirement benefits throughout their careers.
