Upcoming Rulemaking Hearing at PERA Board Meeting

The PERA Board of Trustees will hold a rulemaking hearing at 10:00 a.m. during the January 17, 2025, Board meeting.  During the rulemaking hearing, the Board will review and vote on proposed administrative rules. The proposed rules include administrative updates, as well as clarifications for administering the new working after retirement legislation passed during the 2024 legislative session. This hearing is a continuation of the rules discussed at the November 15, 2024, Board meeting. PERA greatly values your feedback and invites you to submit comments on the proposed changes to PERA’s Rules in writing in advance of the January 17, 2025, Board meeting, or in person or virtually during the 10:00 a.m. rules hearing. Please see the PERA website for information on providing written comments in advance or attending in person or virtually to provide comment. As a reminder, all PERA Board meetings are open to the public and available to livestream on the PERA website.
