Taylor McLemore Reappointed to PERA Board of Trustees

DENVER—The Colorado Senate has approved the reappointment of Taylor McLemore to the Colorado PERA Board of Trustees.
Legislators on the Senate Finance Committee unanimously recommended McLemore’s reappointment at his confirmation hearing on April 15 and the full Senate gave its approval on April 21.
Gov. Jared Polis first appointed McLemore to the Board in 2021, and he has served as Chair of the Board since January 2025.
McLemore is Chief Operating Officer at Tilt, a software company specializing in employee leave management. He earned a B.A. in Economics and Spanish from Davidson College and certificates from Harvard Business School for board directorship and the Program on Negotiation from Harvard Law School.
By state law, the management of PERA funds is vested in PERA’s Board of Trustees. The 16-member Board of Trustees includes three Trustees appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Senate; four members from the School Division; three members from the State Division; one member from the Local Government Division; one Judicial Division member; two PERA retirees; a non-voting representative from the DPS Division; and the State Treasurer as an ex officio, voting member.
