Colorado PERA Celebrates Top Workplaces 2025 Honor

DENVER—Colorado PERA is proud to announce its recognition as a Top Workplaces 2025 award recipient by Colorado Top Workplaces, marking the fourth consecutive year the organization has received this prestigious honor. This award is based entirely on employee feedback collected through a third-party survey conducted by Energage LLC, a leading employee engagement technology provider.

The confidential survey evaluates workplace culture through key themes such as feeling Respected & Supported, being Enabled to Grow, and feeling Empowered to Execute. These insights highlight PERA’s ongoing commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and high-performing environment.

In addition to being named a Top Workplace, Colorado PERA was also recognized with two special distinctions: Culture Excellence and Purpose & Values, underscoring the strength of its organizational culture and its dedication to meaningful, mission-driven work.

“We’re honored to earn a Top Workplaces award because it comes authentically from employees,” said Andrew Roth, CEO and Executive Director of Colorado PERA. “We are extremely proud of our people for their dedication and commitment to excellence in serving our members and retirees. The additional recognition for Culture Excellence and Purpose & Values speaks volumes about the quality of our team and the environment we strive to cultivate every day.”

The Top Workplaces awards are rooted in Energage’s proven employee engagement research, emphasizing the importance of employee voice in building successful workplaces.

“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That’s something to be proud of. In today’s market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That’s paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”

Colorado PERA supports its workforce by offering robust retirement and health benefits, a flexible work environment, and opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth. By investing in cutting-edge tools and resources, PERA ensures its employees are equipped to meet the evolving needs of over 700,000 public employees and retirees across Colorado.

“This recognition reflects PERA’s unwavering commitment to our employees and our mission,” Roth added. “A welcoming, values-driven culture is key to innovation and attracting top talent. This award affirms that we are on the right path — and it pays dividends not only for our staff, but for the members we serve.”
