2025 PERA Board of Trustees Meeting Dates
2025-01-10T08:43:23DENVER—The PERA Board of Trustees has released its schedule of meetings for 2025.
The Board meets at least five times a year to conduct important business and receive updates from staff on operations and strategic initiatives.
The Board approved the following meeting dates:
- January: Committee meetings January 14 & 16; Board meeting January 17
- March: Committee meetings March 13; Board meeting March 14
- June: Committee meetings June 10 & 26; Board meeting June 27
- September: Planning session September 17 & 18; Board meeting September 19
- November: Committee meetings November 5 & 20; Board meeting November 21
The Board may schedule additional meetings throughout the year as needed.
Meetings are held at PERA’s headquarters at 1301 Pennsylvania Street in Denver and streamed live on copera.org and PERA’s YouTube channel. Each meeting includes time for in-person and virtual public comment.

The PERA Board is responsible for administering benefits and overseeing PERA operations and management. The Board is made up of 16 Trustees, 12 of whom are directly elected by PERA members and retirees. As fiduciaries, the Board has a responsibility to act in the best interests of PERA members. Elected Trustees serve on a volunteer basis and are paid only for necessary expenses.
Colorado PERA provides retirement and other benefits to nearly 700,000 current and former teachers, State Troopers, corrections officers, snowplow drivers, and other public employees who provide valuable service to all of Colorado. PERA is a vital and stable contributor to Colorado’s economy, distributing $4.56 billion in 2023 to more than 114,000 retirees who live in Colorado.
