While you may already have life insurance through your employer, that coverage may not be enough to fully protect your loved ones. That’s why Colorado PERA offers a supplemental life insurance program administered by Unum.
Perks of the Unum Policy
- Premiums start as low as $7.75 per month, and can be deducted from your paycheck by your employer.
- Guaranteed coverage if you enroll between April 1 and May 31 – no health questions or exams required.
- Automatic coverage for eligible dependents, at no additional cost.
- You can continue Unum coverage while you are a PERA member and into retirement.
