Less Than Two Weeks Remain to Enroll in PERA’s Life Insurance Program
Don’t miss your chance to enroll in PERA’s Life Insurance Program, provided through Unum, before open enrollment ends on May 31. Life insurance not only provides financial support for your loved ones in the event of an untimely death, but it also gives you peace of mind knowing they will be taken care of.
As a Colorado PERA member, you can enroll in PERA’s life insurance program in addition to your personal and employer plans. The open enrollment period for PERA’s life insurance program runs through May 31 and during this time you are guaranteed enrollment. If you recently started working for a PERA employer, you can enroll in guaranteed coverage within 90 days of becoming a PERA member.
PERA’s life insurance program offers an Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) benefit, coverage you can carry into retirement, and automatic coverage for eligible dependents at no additional cost.
