It’s Time for Open Enrollment
Open Enrollment is your annual opportunity to review your PERACare coverage, make changes to your health, dental, or vision plans, and add eligible dependents.
We will be mailing open enrollment information over the next two weeks, so keep an eye on your mail. Your packet will include a personalized letter with premium(s) for the current year and next year, a list of changes to the plans for 2027, virtual Open Enrollment meeting schedules, and all the information you need to review your coverage.
If you’ve set up your secure online account, watch for an email next week letting you know your personalized Open Enrollment letter is available to view in your secure account. Otherwise, your letter will arrive by mail in the coming weeks.
What to know:
- You can submit an Open Enrollment form anytime from October 1 to November 19.
- There will be changes to the health carriers and plans for 2027. More information about those changes is available in this newsletter and in your open enrollment packet.
- Dental and vision plans from Cigna Dental, Delta Dental, and VSP will remain unchanged for 2027.
Attend a Virtual Open Enrollment Meeting
This year you can attend virtual Open Enrollment meetings hosted by PERA, and by the new PERACare health plan carriers Anthem, Humana, and Moda Health.
The PERA meetings will provide general enrollment information, an overview of the changes for 2027, and a review of all the health, dental and vision plans available. Attendees will be able to submit questions to PERA and the PERACare carriers during the Q&A session at the end of each meeting.
The meetings hosted by Anthem, Humana, and Moda Health will be more detailed and highlight the tools and resources they will have available to help you during the open enrollment period and after you enroll.
