In Loving Memory: Katie Remington

With profound sadness, we share with you the unexpected passing of our friend and colleague, Katie Remington. Throughout her 19 years at Colorado PERA, she earned the reputation as a helpful, dedicated, and knowledgeable professional for both our staff and you, the employers we serve.  Katie grew up at PERA, working her way from the team’s Support Specialist to her position as Employer Relations Manager for the past four years. She was a driving force in cultivating a team that reflected her own kindness, helpfulness, and deep knowledge to better serve our stakeholders.

If you had the pleasure of working with Katie, you know she was a kind and bubbly person. She had a knack for remembering the smallest details about people and making them feel special. She loved everything pink and went to see every horror movie when they came out. Katie believed in her team fiercely and supported our personal growth. She was an extraordinary person in every way. The Employer Relations team will miss her dearly and will continue to offer the level of service that Katie inspired us to provide.
