Benefits of Registering With Your Carrier

Did you know that each of your insurance carriers has a member portal and/or mobile app? Creating an online account with carriers empowers you with tools to better understand and use your benefits.

With an online account, you can:

  • Find detailed information about your plan’s coverage
  • View claims and Explanations of Benefits (EOBs) for previous visits
  • Search for providers in your network
  • Learn about any extra benefits included in your plan
  • Estimate costs for medical and pharmacy services ahead of time
  • View and print your ID card or request a new one

Kaiser Permanente members can take additional actions online due to Kaiser’s unique integrated model. That includes scheduling medical appointments, emailing your doctors, refilling prescriptions, and viewing lab results.

While you’re creating accounts with your insurance carriers, don’t forget you can also create an account with Colorado PERA to access your information on the PERA secure website and in the PERA mobile app on Apple or Android. With a secure Colorado PERA account, you can submit PERACare and other forms online, access tax forms, send secure messages, update federal and state withholding, and more.
