One of PERA's best resources is our Web site. You can get the most from our Web site by having a PERA Personal Identification Number (PIN), which allows you to access your PERA information when it's convenient for you.

With a PERA PIN, you can

Select to receive e-mail notification that your Annual Member Statement, PERA newsletters, and other publications are available online

Correspond with PERA through Secure Correspondence

Use PERA calculators with your personal account information

bullet

Complete online forms, such as Beneficiary Change Form, PERA Retirement Application, and Service Credit Purchase Application

Schedule an appointment with a PERA counselor

bullet

Sign up for certain PERA meetings (Group Workshops)

Update your contact information (change your address, phone number, or e-mail)

Request or Replace a PIN

Call PERA's Customer Service Center at 1-800-759-7372 or 303-832-9550 or online through PIN Request.

PERA issues Personal Identification Numbers (PINs) only to individuals who have been verified by a PERA Representative.

You will be mailed a PIN within 7 days to the address of the requester on file at PERA.

You can change your PIN to one that is easy for you to remember by logging on and selecting the "Update PIN" tab.

Please remember to keep your PIN confidential.

Your PERA account and your PERA 401(k) account use the same PIN.

Deactivate a PIN

You may deactivate your PIN at any time, which will prevent all users (including you) from accessing your PERA account information via the Internet.

Call PERA's Customer Service Center at 1-800-759-7372 or 303-832-9550 to deactivate your PIN.

You should not deactivate your PIN if you have a PERA 401(k) account since you will need your PIN to speak to an ING Participant Services Representative about your 401(k) account or to access any account information.

PINs will automatically be deactivated after five consecutive unsuccessful log-on attempts.

Reactivate a PIN

You may reactivate your PIN only by calling PERA's Customer Service Center at 1-800-759-7372 or 303-832-9550.

Request Electronic Delivery of PERA Information

You may select to receive electronic notification of the Member Report, the Member Update, the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) Summary, and Annual Member Statements via e-mail rather than the printed versions mailed to your home address. You'll receive your PERA news faster than if we mailed it to you, and you'll be helping PERA to reduce operating costs associated with printing and mailing.

To request Electronic Delivery, click on Account Access and enter your Social Security number and PIN, then select Electronic Delivery from the Online Services drop-down menu and follow the prompts as indicated.
